Sunday Style 01.08.21

Every week we pick our favourite new fashion, beauty and interiors arrivals from across the web for you. We do the trawling so you don't have to!

Good morning and happy Bank Holiday Sunday if you are in Ireland :)

Can you believe it's August 1st already?! You may have noticed some new season pieces filtering through on the high street and in editorials already. I know for some that it will be far too early to be thinking about Autumn but I for one bloody love Autumn and Winter dressing. Spot the two sensational AW pieces from Dries Van Noten in this edit. They're aspirational but so,so bloody gorgeous, It's one collection that I always want every piece of.

Cooler weather dressing is all about the layers and mixing of textures and I think it just makes for far more interesting looks with more ways of changing up a look too. I have included a small amount of Autumn/Winter pieces in this edit to give you a taster. You may have seen my fashion tip on my Instagram stories during the week. I mentioned that if you love quality at affordable costs (and let's face it, who doesnt'!?) now is actually a fantastic time to consider buying your Winter wardrobe staples at highly discounted prices from sites like The Outnet and Farfetch. I have included two such absolute steals in this edit also.

This week I discovered a new Irish skincare brand called Element8.

I love the ethos behind this brand. It is a Vegan and environmentally friendly brand with no animal testing and proven efficacy. Mairead, the brands founder is a Bio Chemist with experience in the pharmaceutical industry so really knows her stuff. I've included some of the Element8 skincare range in this weeks edit. If you are thinking of changing your skincare routine and like to support Irish businesses while being environmentally conscious then check out the Element8 skincare range.

I wanted to include more sustainable brands in my edits as I'm aware that I have kind of taken my eye off the ball when it comes to that here on the blog. I've included three of my favourite Irish businesses that are not only very clever ideas but are also managing to make successful businesses from sustainable fashion; Lou's Lot sells very cool reworked jewellery. Luxe Library hires designer handbags and Siopaella is a well established treasure trove of preloved clothing and accessories including incredible designer Pieces. Also included in my favourite daytime lipstick, the one you all always ask about when I wear it on Instagram stories.

If you would like your brand featured in the Sunday Style Edit, drop me a message here.

Any pieces that are marked with three small asterisks after the price have discount codes available for you to get €€€ off. Just go straight to my Instagram account and under "Shop" in my bio you'll find a list of discount codes. While your there show some love to my latest post too please! Instagram's latest algorithm is killing engagement for small accounts like mine. Thank you :)

Just hover on the photo to see the price and click through to view or buy.

Happy Shopping!
